Every Body, regardless of age or health condition, is capable of practicing yoga. If the yoga session consists of nothing more than pranayama (breathing exercises) with intention, you achieve the benefits of yoga: physical, spiritual, and emotional health. Bright Path Yoga uses pranayama along with asanas (poses) that may be gentle to challenging, depending on the student's capabilities and limitations. The classes always include guided relaxation or meditation for deep release.
Taking yoga classes with Janet Hennard has been the best thing I could have done for my health and general well-being. I have fibromyalgia and live in constant pain. When I leave Janet's class, I actually feel great. -- Donna
Janet's inner peace and calming persona are translated through her enthusiastic work as a yoga instructor. She inspires students with difficult and painful diseases to try to move and bend again when they feared those gifts of flexibility were lost.-- Diane
I love that no one judges your ability to do and/or hold a position. I no longer focus on my performance of yoga; I now follow my body. Thank you for your loving guidance, Janet -- Judi
